“I am writing to endorse Greenfields School and Sports College as an outstanding school for the Arts. Over the past academic year Christine Smith and Nicole Anderson (NMPAT) have worked alongside students from Key Stage four with Ukulele workshops. Due to the project’s success this was then extended to offer further opportunities to students in Key Stages three and five, supporting students to participate and engaging students to reach their full potential.
The students have experienced a variety of tasks including small group work, collaborative work, one to one work and solo empowerment parts. The positivity from students and staff was overwhelming and students were able to develop a range of skills through this project. The skills developed in this project went above and beyond music skills, knowledge and understanding and experiences and the project successfully engaged students developing other skills including self-esteem and confidence, social and communication skills, listening and receptive skills and the expression of mood and feelings in appropriate ways through music as a medium.
I cannot recommend Greenfields School and Sports College highly enough. Your value of the arts permeates through every aspect of school life through a dedicated cross curricular approach. The standard of work produced by the students is outstanding and is celebrated throughout the school both visually and formally. The children have pride and confidence in their achievements and successes. I fully endorse Greenfields School and Sports College’s application for the Gold Arts mark Award. I look forward to working with you again soon” Employee of Northamptonshire Music Centre

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for allowing me to complete some work experience at your school. I found it really helpful and I am really grateful that I had the opportunity to see so much in a short space of time. I am still looking around universities at the moment, but it has confirmed that nursing is the career I would like to pursue.
I particularly enjoyed working with the children who have autism, I found this to be incredibly rewarding and is definitely an area I would like to explore further. I also really enjoyed seeing how the hydro pool helps some of the students physically but also emotionally. I found Greenfields to be a truly inspiring place and would love to come back if there is an opportunity to do so in the future.
Please pass on my huge thanks to Kev and all the staff that I met”.
